New Partnership in Northeastern Montana for Treatment of Addiction & Mental Illness

August 11, 2019 — BILLINGS, MONT. PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT. Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center (EMCMHC), headquartered in Miles City, Montana, and Rimrock, headquartered in Billings, Montana have entered into a partnership to provide enhanced addiction and mental illness treatment for the people of Eastern Montana.
The partnership was created through a collaboration between EMCMHC CEO Brenda Kneeland, and Rimrock CEO Lenette Kosovich, representing over 25 years of combined experience in leading the two organizations. EMCHMC and Rimrock have provided treatment services for addiction and mental illness here in Montana for a combined 103 years!
EMCMHC’s Brenda Kneeland stated:
“EMCMHC’s partnership with Rimrock is based on our mutual goal of providing residents in Eastern Montana with high quality behavioral health and addiction treatment services. We want people to have the opportunity to receive consistent and appropriate treatment as close to their home communities as possible. We are excited to begin this partnership and I believe that it will benefit individuals, families and communities throughout Eastern Montana.”
Lenette Kosovich from Rimrock added:
“Montana continues to be impacted by the negative effects of the drug epidemic. We at Rimrock are excited to partner with EMCMHC as a “like minded” organization who recognizes that together we can leverage each other’s strengths to provide the best care for Montanans who need help. This partnership allows us to provide the appropriate level of care in a broader range of communities – serving people closer to their home.”
Since opening its doors in 1967, the mission of EMCMHC has been to provide quality, professional, comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment services to the citizens of Eastern Montana. EMCMHC also offers a wide range of treatment services including: Residential for Substance Use Disorder and Group Home for Mental Illness, Day Treatment, Outpatient Services for both Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness, Family Therapy, Substance Use & Mental Health Assessments, Peer Support Services, DUI /MIP Classes, and Comprehensive School and Community Treatment Program (CSCT).
Founded in 1968, Rimrock is the largest treatment center in the region, serving adults and adolescents with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Rimrock offers a variety of services including: Inpatient and Residential for Substance Use Disorder, Day Treatment, Outpatient Services for both Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness, Family Therapy, Substance Use and Mental Health Assessments, Peer Support Services, DUI Classes, Medical Detoxification, Long Term Residential for Mothers with Children, and Adolescent Inpatient, Outpatient, and School Based Programs.
The goal of this partnership is to offer a continuum of exceptional addiction and mental illness treatment for people in Eastern Montana.
